'Troubled Waters' to be shown at Congregational Church Feb. 22
The Izaak Walton League's Prairie Woods Chapter proudly partners with the Congregational Church in Detroit Lakes to present the controversial film, "Troubled Waters: A Mississippi River Story," on Tuesday, Feb. 22 at 7 p.m. in the Congregational Church, 900 Lake Ave., Detroit Lakes.
Visiting guest speaker to conduct a question-answer session following the 57 minute film is Director of Agricultural Activities for the Izaak Walton League of America, Brad Redlin.
This DVD discusses how vastly interconnected everything is, the impact of fertilizers and barren soils and how man's activities in Minnesota are connected to the dead zone in the Gulf
Raised on a farm and today a co-owner of a Montana farm, Redlin will offer skillful insights into agriculture and the future. of Mexico.
The Feb. 22 showing is free and open to the public. All are welcome to attend.
