Two commercial trucks collide near Perham
DETROIT LAKES -- A UPS truck and a well-drilling truck collided on Highway 10 near Perham Wednesday morning, causing one lane of traffic to be blocked until the site could be cleaned up.
Curtis Bouton, 60, of Ulen was driving the Mack well-driller truck, which was pulling a 1993 Ford pickup truck.
Steven W. Lund, 47, of Frazee was in the 1990 UPS truck.
According to the State Patrol, both vehicles were westbound on Highway 10 about 3 miles east of Perham.
The UPS truck hit the back of the well-drilling truck that was pulling a pickup. The well-drilling truck rolled onto its side. The UPS truck and pickup truck blocked a lane of traffic for some time. The accident was reported at 6:53 a.m. on dry blacktop.
The physical condition of the two men was not documented in the accident report, but the State Patrol listed the crash as a "property damage" accident.
