Two DL residents hurt in crash Wednesday
Two Detroit Lakes residents were hurt in a two-car crash Wednesday morning on Highway 10.
Carol A. Cresswell, 47, and Erza Eidenschink, 9, were taken by St. Mary's Ambulance to St. Mary's Innovis Health with what the State Patrol termed 'non life-threatening injuries."
They were in a westbound 1990 Chevy Lumina that was attempting to turn south across Highway 10 to Woods Drive.
The Lumina struck the front end of a 1999 Pontiac Grand Am that was eastbound on Highway 10 and had moved to the right lane in an attempt to avoid the collision, according to the State Patrol.
Virgil G. Davis, 30, of Frazee, who was in the Grand Am, was not injured.
The broadside crash occurred at 7:33 a.m. on dry pavement. Assisting at the scene were Frazee rescue, the Frazee Police Department and the Becker County Sheriff's Office.
