Two hurt in rollover near Audubon

Two men were injured early Sunday morning in a one-vehicle rollover on Highway 10 near Audubon.

Jesse Thompson, 26, of St. Petersburg, Fla., was westbound on Highway 10 driving a 1997 Honda Passport when the vehicle went off the road, hit the ditch and rolled down the embankment.

Thompson and his passenger, Brent Mowery, 25, of Sioux Falls, S.D., both suffered non-life-threatening injuries, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

The two were transported to Essentia St. Mary’s Hospital in Detroit Lakes.

The State Patrol reported that neither was wearing a seatbelt and alcohol was detected on the driver and passenger, according to KDLM Radio.

The rollover was reported just after 6:30 a.m. Sunday on dry pavement near Becker County Road 15. The Becker County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
