Two injured in one-vehicle rollover
Two rural Audubon residents were injured in a one-vehicle rollover Thursday evening in Hamden Township.
The driver, Cindi Hamilton, 50, and the passenger, Terry Glessing, 56, both of rural Audubon, were both injured when the 1997 Toyota Avalon swerved to miss a deer.
The car was southbound on County Road 13 near County Road 12 when the accident happened about 10:30 p.m.
The driver lost control of the Toyota, which slid into the ditch, hit a fencepost and rolled, totaling it.
Both were able to get out of the wreck on their own, and were taken by ambulance to Essentia Health St. Mary's with what the sheriff's department describes as "non life-threatening" injuries.
The sheriff's department was assisted on the scene by Audubon Fire, Audubon Rescue and St. Mary's EMS.
