MOORHEAD – A lawyers for a Salt Lake City trucker accused of holding a woman prisoner in his semi for six months before being arrested at a weigh station in Moorhead wants evidence in the case thrown out.


Steve Beitelspacher, of the Clay County public defender’s office, said at a hearing Thursday in Clay County District Court that he plans to file a motion to suppress evidence on behalf of Timothy Vafeades, 53.
