Verizon 4G network expands to DL, Osage

Verizon Wireless customers in the Detroit Lakes area will have greater access to its 4G network with an expansion set to take effect Thursday.

Communities included in the new coverage area include Ada, Audubon, Breckenridge, Detroit Lakes, Lake Park, Mahnomen, Osage, Tintah and Wolverton.

The expansion covers Highway 10 from Fargo-Moorhead to Detroit Lakes and on Highway 34 to Osage.

Verizon Wireless originally launched its 4G network in the Fargo-Moorhead area on Sept. 15, 2011.
