Victim of last week's fatal fire in Nevis identified
The victim of last week's fatal Nevis fire has been identified.
The Ramsey County Medical Examiner has identified the victim as 62-year-old Dennis Dean Tranby, according to a press release from the Hubbard County Sheriff's Office.
Tranby resided in the home on the 23600 block of 200th Street in Nevis Township that burned down on Thursday, according to the press release.
Tranby's cause of death was determined to be carbon monoxide toxicity due to the house fire, according to the press release. The death is considered to be an accident.
Officials have not yet released a cause of the fire.
