Volleyball: Lakers rip off two straight wins

The Detroit Lakes volleyball team reeled off two victories in a row to improve their record to 8-5 on the season.

A slow start Thursday evening still resulted in a game one victory, which spawned a 3-0 sweep of visiting Mid-State Conference foe Crosby-Ironton.

The Lakers pulled out the first game 25-20 after a cold start, but then rolled through the Rangers in games two and three, 25-7 and 25-11.
