Wadena man charged for child pornography possession
An 18-year-old Wadena man faces five felony possession of child pornography charges. When police searched his computers, Adam Levi Schultz allegedly had an image of two young boys as his screen saver, among other images on the hard drive.
In all, Wadena police found 169 pornographic images on Schultz's two computers while they executed a search warrant at his home. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension cataloged the images, which they described as "child erotica."
Schultz was formally charged in Wadena County District Court on July 6.
Police were tipped to the alleged crime by Schultz's probation agent, who said Schultz was prohibited from possessing pornographic images related to a charge when he was a juvenile.
