Wadena man sentenced to jail for two meth sales
A Wadena man was sentenced Wednesday in Becker County District Court for felony third degree sale and possession of drugs.
James Thomas Brandon, 56, of 1509 11th St. SW, Wadena, was sentenced to six months in jail, 20 years of supervised probation and restitution and fines totaling $2,540.
According to court records, in January of 2009, Brandon made two sales -- a total of 8.6 grams of methamphetamine -- for $1,100 in Otter Tail County to undercover law enforcement of the West Central Drug Taskforce.
Additionally, in March of 2009, Brandon sold 0.9 grams of methamphetamine for $120 in Detroit Lakes, according to court documents.
