Wadena man, woman accused of selling meth
Two people face felony counts of second-degree controlled substance crime in Becker County District Court.
James Thomas Brandon, 56, of 1509 11th St. S.W., Wadena and Kimberly Ann Palazeke Olson, 45, of the same address, are accused of selling methamphetamines to a confidential reliable informant working with the West Central Minnesota Drug Task Force.
According to court records:
On Jan. 2, 2009, they allegedly sold the informant 2.8 grams of meth for $400. The transaction took place at Highway 210 just east of County Road 75 in Otter Tail County.
On Jan. 16, 2009, they allegedly sold the informant 5.9 grams of meth for $700. The transaction occurred at the Tesero gas station in Perham.
On March 7, 2009, they allegedly sold 1 gram of meth for $120 at the now-closed Dollar Store parking lot in Detroit Lakes.
They appeared Friday before District Judge Joe Evans, who set Brandon's bail or bond at $60,000, without conditions, or $25,000 with standard conditions of release.
He set Palazeke Olson's bail or bond at $50,000 without conditions or $15,000 with standard conditions of release.
Their next court appearance is set for March 7.
