Monday, the school was nice and cozy with pajama day. Grape spitting was the class competition game during lunch, and a jelly bean game was played by the candidates during homeroom.

That night the volleyball team and JV football took on Ulen-Hitterdal and both came out with wins. It was a great way to start the homecoming week.

On Tuesday our halls were filled with superheroes. During lunch the grades competed to fit as many classmates in a fixed circle as possible within 2 minutes and for 30 seconds. The candidates chugged Jello through a straw for their game during homeroom.

Wednesday was crazy/mix up day. It was time to take a break and the crazy hair and mixed up outfits was enough chaos. During lunch and homeroom that day the classes got time to plan their floats for the parade and make teams for the pep fest. Shorts and flip-flops were a big hit on tropical Thursday.

The Oreo challenge took place during lunch for a class competition game. The candidates teamed up with a teacher to bust a few moves at the dance competition during homeroom. To make it even more fun, there was a dance off held at the end to determine the winner.

Later Thursday evening, the volleyball team played Ada-Borup with great effort. Friday came too soon, but was full of spirit. Bomber attire abounded in the school! The day started off with coronation and King Austin Lanoue and Queen Felecia Bellanger were crowned.

Following lunch hour the weather cooperated very nicely and the pep fest took place outside.

The classes competed in an obstacle course with the seniors taking the win. The cheerleaders put on a great show with a routine, and the candidates played their last few games of the week. When the pep fest was finished, it brought the school right into their homecoming parade.

Grand Marshal and Principle Helen Kennedy led the Waubun and Ogema Fire Departments, tribal police officers, ambulances, Homecoming Court and the grades through town for the residents and businesses to see.

After school got out, there was a middle school dance held in the commons area, and outside, the grills were full of hotdogs and hamburgers ready to be served to the community at tailgating before the football.

The football team played hard and defeated Ulen-Hitterdal in an outstanding game Friday night!

Following the game, the Senior High students danced the night away and wrapped up a very successful homecoming, thanks to planning by the student council and cheerleaders.
