Waubun woman sentenced for trying to alter prescription
Genna Louise Burrow, 25, of 39718 Village Drive, Waubun has been sentenced in Becker County District Court with felony fifth-degree controlled substance crime.
According to court records, on March 19, 2008, she altered a prescription in an attempt to fill a methadone prescription two days early at the Wal-Mart pharmacy.
She appeared June 16 before District Judge Joe Evans, who stayed adjudication of sentence for five years and ordered her to serve 30 days in jail. She was fined $1,000 plus court fees, but can do STS work in lieu of the fine. She must get a chemical use assessment and follow the recommendations.
