RECREATION

• Third Crossing Sled Dog Rendezvous: 11 a.m., race site 1.3 miles east of the intersection of Lake Street and Juniper Avenue (Highway 87 and County Road 10). Six competitive races planned, including six-mile events for six or eight dogs, and four-mile events for three-dog (mushers age 16 and under), four-dog and skijor competitors.
