DANCE

• DL Cloggers: 2 p.m., Golden Manor, located behind the Detroit Lakes Animal Hospital off Highway 34. Local cloggers to perform; all are welcome.

HOLIDAY EVENTS

• Renaissance Madrigal Dinner: 6:15 p.m., Historic Holmes Theatre Ballroom, Detroit Lakes. DLHS music students will treat guests to a Renaissance-style feast including not only a five-course meal, but live music and entertainment throughout the evening. Seating begins promptly at 6:15 p.m.; Royal Court processional starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $28, and may be purchased at the Holmes Box Office. Info: 218-844-SHOW (7469).

HOLIDAY EVENTS

• Museum Open House: 5 to 7 p.m., ITOW Veterans' Museum, 805 W. Main, Perham. Pictures with Santa, cookie decorating and new holiday gift table where kids age 5-12 can purchase gifts for only $1. The public is invited. Refreshments will be served. Info: 2180346-7678.

• Holiday Train: 4:30 to 5 p.m., Holmes Street Crossing, Detroit Lakes. Canadian Pacific Railroad helps spread Christmas cheer -- and raise money for local food shelves -- with its annual holiday train stops at cities across the U.S. and Canada. Stop in Detroit Lakes will include a live concert performance featuring accomplished Canadian and U.S. performers. Donations for the Becker County Food Pantry will be accepted. Info: www8.cpr.ca.

• "Christmas Counting": 1 p.m., George Simson Auditorium, Detroit Lakes Middle School. Holiday program presented by Roosevelt students. All are welcome.

• Advent Mini-Concert: 12 noon, First Lutheran Church, Detroit Lakes. Featured performers include the Laker Singers, Rich Johnson and Holly Dutton. The concert is free and open to the public, though a free will offering will be taken A soup and sandwich lunch will follow the program.
