• Forest Fungi Walk & Talk: 2 p.m., Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge, rural Rochert. Join USDA plant biologist Tom Gulya for a walk in the woods. Be in the know. Learn how to identify mushrooms and other fascinating fungi as you enjoy the colors of the season. Meet at the visitor center for presentation and then carpool to hiking location.

• Indian Summer Quilt Show: 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Holiday Inn, 3803 13th Ave. S., Fargo. Hosted by the Quilter's Guild of North Dakota. Over 200 quilts on exhibit as well as demonstrations and a family area packed with fabrics, books and samples. Admission is $4 per person, or free of charge for all children age 12 and under. • Honkin' Haulin' Hands on Trucks: 1 to 3 p.m., Veterans Memorial Arena, 1201 7th Ave. E., West Fargo. Get into the driver's seat of more than 25 trucks, tractors and construction equipment including crane, snowplow, sweeper, fire truck, Bobcat skid steer, 18-wheeler and more.
