MUSIC

• Classical Music Festival: 1 to 6 p.m., Trollwood Park, 3664 Elm St., Fargo. Featuring performances from the Lake Agassiz Concert Band, Jazz Arts Group, FM Chamber Chorale and FM Symphony Orchestra. Guests can also make their own music at the instrument petting zoo or be creative at the Fargo Park District art workshop. Concessions available throughout the day; free admission. MISCELLANEOUS

• Quake the Lake Powerboat Races: Hot laps start at 12 noon, racing at 1 p.m., Detroit Lakes City Beach (across from Zorbaz Restaurant). Twin City Power Boat Association teams up with Zorbaz, J&K Marine, Washington Square Mall, Great Plains Claims, and the Detroit Lakes Tourism Bureau to bring powerboat racing to DL.

• Pageant Send-Off: 2 p.m., Frazee Event Center. A public send-off party for Miss Frazee, Miss Frazee Outstanding Teen, Miss Heart of the Lakes, Miss Northwest and Miss Perham, who will be competing for Miss Minnesota and Miss Minnesota Outstanding Teen in mid-June. At the send-off, each of these young ladies will showcase their talent selection and their competition wardrobe. Everyone is invited to attend and there is no charge for this event.

MUSIC

• Park Rapids Area Community Band: 7 p.m., City Park Bandshell, Detroit Lakes. Tuesdays in the Park concert series is free and open to the public.
