• North Country Hiking Fest: 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., Itasca State Park. Social hour beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the Brower Visitors Center; Park Naturalist Connie Cox will give a presentation on North Country wildlife at 10:15 a.m., and the Itasca Moraine Chapter will lead a 5 mile hike on the North Country Trail from Spider Lake Trail west to the south entrance trailhead at U.S. Highway 71.
