• Pumpkin Fest: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Lake Park. Garden club produce and plant sale at the American Legion, craft and vendor show at the Fire Bay both starting at 8 a.m.; pumpkin carving displays at City Center, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; classic car show on Lake Street, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; kids' pedal tractor pull, horseshoe tournament, barrel train and horse-drawn wagon rides throughout the day; parade at 2:30 p.m.

• Maplewood Leaf Days: All day, Maplewood State Park, rural Pelican Rapids. Horse-drawn wagon tours of the fall colors; children's activity time at 1:30 p.m. in the Josh Hanson Memorial Picnic Shelter (today only); "Introduction to Geocaching" at 1:30 p.m. (today and Sunday). Info: 218-8683-8383.
