Meet at the Chippewa Picnic Area and carpool to trailhead. Bring a sack lunch, and wear an article of blaze orange clothing. Dogs on leash are welcome.

• Pelican Rapids Oktoberfest: The 12th annual event concludes today with Volksmarch, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. at Lida Greens and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at Maplewood Lutheran Church; "Best of the Wurst" sausage and beer tasting, 1:30 p.m., Crossroads Corner; Polka Party and German Dinner, noon to 5 p.m., VFW, with dancing from 1-5 p.m.; and button drawings, 5 p.m., VFW.

MUSIC
