• Lake Park Pumpkin Fest & All-School Reunion: 8 a.m. to 12 midnight, various locations, Lake Park. Today's evengs include a 5K run/walk, classic car show, tractor display, horsesohe tournament, horse and tractor-drawn wagon rides, pumpkin crafts, Taste of Pumpkin food tasting, Pumpkin Bowl, Pumpkin Pie Polka Walk, pumpkin pie eating and pumpkin carving contests, street dance and more. The grand parade starts at 2:30 p.m., and there will also be tours of both the new and old high school buildings offered.

• Tamarac Fall Festival: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge, 35704 County Highway 26, Rochert. Nature photography walks, tours of the Refuge's historic cabins and trails, children's activities and a silent auction. This year's festival theme is, "Swans: A Tamarac Legacy."
