    MUSIC

    • All-City Choir Concert: 7:30 p.m., High School Gymnasium, Detroit Lakes. Live rock music. Guest conductor Michael Culloton of Moorhead will direct a choir of more than 500 DLHS students.     • Angels of the Muse Singer-Songwriter Showcase: 7 to 10 p.m., Spirit Room 111 Broadway, Fargo.     • “The Looney Lutherans”: 7:30 p.m., Top Hat Theatre, Ulen-Hitterdal School, 27 2nd St. NW, Ulen. Three professional actresses bring some Scandinavian comic relief, with a little music and audience interaction added. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for students. Info: 218-596-8853.
    • “Vegas, Baby”: 8 p.m., Stage at Island Park, 333 4th St. S., Fargo. A fundraiser for The Stage at Island Park, casino-style gaming, free live entertainment, cash bar, prizes and more, local celebrities dressed as Vegas celebs, a preview of “Gypsy the Musical,” the Broadway Bound Final Four and karaoke.     MISCELLANEOUS

    • Maple Syrup Fest: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., downtown Vergas. Pancake feed at the Vergas Event Center starts at 8 a.m., featuring fresh maple syrup and homemade sausage plus entertainment, maple treats; Saps Running 5K Run/Walk at 9 a.m. starting in front of Vergas Hardware; egg hut at the assisted living center at 11 a.m.; and a raffle drawing for an original piece of metal artwork by local artist Patrick Shannon at 1 p.m. in the Event Center. Sugar house tours by area maple syrup producers will take place as weather permits.
    • Aeromodelers Show: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Washington Square Mall, Detroit Lakes. Live demonstrations and a variety of model airplanes for sale. Info: 218-847-1679.
    • Bean Bags, Beer & Beach Bums: 5 to 11 p.m., Bleachers Bar & Grill, Detroit Lakes. Bring your flip flops, tropical shirts and beach chairs and warm up for summer with this fundraiser for the Detroit Lakes Jaycees. A $20 ticket gets you in the door, entered in the Bean Bag Tourney, dinner and first drink, Final 4 basketball game viewing, and entertainment by Rock Star DJ. For $15 you can watch the bean bag tourney and have dinner and first drink; bean bag tournament fee is $10 per team.
    • Minn-Kota Cat Show: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Red River Valley Fairgrounds Ag Building, West Fargo. Over 100 purebred and household pet cats from around the U.S. and Canada compete for top honors. Admission $8 for adults, $4 for kids ages 6-12, free for ages 5 and younger.

    MISCELLANEOUS

    • “Storyland” exhibit opening: 1 to 3 p.m., Becker County Museum, 714 Summit Ave., Detroit Lakes. The grand opening of the trav-eling exhibit “Storyland: A Trip through Childhood Favorites” will include a visit from Curious George, a “Where’s Spot” scavenger hunt and several guest story readers, including State Senator Kent Ekent.
