A concert-style/readers theater-style version of "Songs From the Tall Grass," an epic poem of the prairie, weaving lyrics from musical primers from the 1800s with original, modern-day music, telling real tales from the past that enchant the senses and stimulate discussions about history, family and hopes for the future. • "Galileo & the Power of the Telescope": 2 p.m., Planetarium, Minnesota State University, Moorhead. This full-dome film tells the story of Galileo and his telescope and the discoveries he made 400 years ago, which forever changed our view of the heavens and inspired more amazing discoveries made by the modern descendants of Galileo's Optik Tube.
