Microsoft Word class

Come to DL Library from 6:30 to 8 p.m. for a basic Microsoft Word computer class. During the session, you will learn to create a new document, use toolbars and menus, copy and paste, align text, change fonts, and add clip art. It is ideal to know the parts of a computer and their functions as well as how to use the mouse and open programs.

'Noises Off'

Students at Minnesota State Community & Technical College (M-State) in Fergus Falls will present the British comedy "Noises Off" at 7:30 p.m. in the Waage Fine Arts Theatre, 1414 College Way, Fergus Falls. Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door for adults; $6 in advance and $7 at the door for youth ages 18 and under; children 5 and under are free. All seats reserved. Ring of Kerry

The Celtic musical group, Ring of Kerry, will perform at the ITOW Veterans Museum in Perham at 8 p.m. County Kerry is famous throughout the world for its natural beauty, and the Ring of Kerry is probably the most common tourist route for seeing it. Ring of Kerry is also the name of a Minnesota based musical group with the power to transport you to the Emerald Isle through their remarkable music. Community theater returns to the lakes area as Summit Productions presents the enduring whodunit, "The Mousetrap," as the debut production of the community theater group, The Summit Avenue Players, at 7:30 p.m. The Holmes Ballroom will be transformed into a gothic dinner theater for the event. DL Blades 'Carnival'

The DL Blades Figure Skating Club presents "Carnival" during its 10th anniversary. The show is at 7 p.m. in the Kent Freeman Sports Arena.

Movie Marathon

Join the DLCCC for an afternoon of free movies starring Ingrid Bergman, trivia, prizes and more in the Holmes Ballroom. The movies will begin at 1 p.m. Pull up a lawn chair (or bring your own) and re-live the glamour, elegance and mystery of old Hollywood. Concessions available. Music scholarship concert

The Detroit Lakes Public Schools Music Department presents a Scholarship Concert at 7 p.m. in the George Simpson Middle School Auditorium. Cost of the concert is $5 for adults and $3 for children in grades K-12 or $10 per immediate family. Proceeds from the concert will provide scholarship money to students who are pursuing degrees in music education. Performers include Doc & the Scrubs, Roosevelt 4th Grade Classes, Rossman 5th Grade Choir, Middle School 6th Grade Vocal Ensembles, Laker Singers and the Laker Jazz Band.

'Rain' Beatles tribute

The award-winning Beatles concert, "Rain -- A Tribute to the Beatles," triumphantly returns to the Fargodome for one night only, starting at 7:30 p.m. Tickets, priced from $26.50 to $46.50, are on sale now at the Fargodome Box Office, all Ticketmaster outlets including Macy's, Discontent, Cash Wise and NDSU Memorial Union, online at www.ticketmaster.com, or by phone at 701-235-7171.
