What snow? It's beach time!
April snow is always going on borrowed time, and members of the Kiwanis Club are thumbing their noses at the weather, as they get ready for a party.
"It's the perfect time for a luau!" said Kimberly Wegleitner, Kiwanis's co-chair for the event.
The 28th annual fundraiser, being held at the Holiday Inn, is once again taking on the cheery, tropical theme of a luau.
Partiers at the event are given a flower lei at the door to set the summer scene.
