White Earth man in court for 'moving to the music,' driving under influence
A White Earth man made his first appearance in Becker County District Court on a felony charge of driving while intoxicated-test refusal.
Loren Lee Laducer, 45, of P.O. Box 392, Unit 2302, 360th Ave., White Earth, was taken into custody Nov. 16. According to the criminal complaint, Laducer was stopped on County Road 34 in Becker County, a little after 6 p.m.
While being questioned by the officer, Laducer appeared unable to sit still, and exhibited jerky movements, which he explained as "moving to the music," but there was no music playing.
After performing poorly on some field tests, he reportedly refused to take a blood or urine test.
Laducer is currently in custody awaiting his next court appearance, at a Dec. 3 omnibus hearing. His bail was set at $15,000 with conditions, or 30,000 without.
