Former Perham resident William "Bill" Rogers, 53, of Thoreau, N.M., passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque, N.M., after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.
A memorial service will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday, May 27 at St. Lawrence Hall in Perham.
William Russell Rogers was born to Bernard and Marie (Loerzel) Rogers on May 29, 1959 in St. Paul, Minn.
He lived in Thoreau, N.M., with his wife Valerie (Duckers) Rogers, where he worked as a carpenter.
He also lived for many years in Perham, where he worked as a baker.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Bernard and Marie (Loerzel) Rogers.
Survivors include his wife, Valerie (Duckers) Rogers; his two sons, Jeremy and Russell Rogers; seven sisters, Carol, Alice, Betty, Kathy, Phyllis, Rita and Sally; two brothers, James and John; and one grandson, Timothy Rogers.
He is a beloved son, husband, father, brother and grandfather; never forgotten.
