Woman charged with credit card fraud
Christie Marie Jackson, 33, of 18624 County Road 6, Audubon has been charged in Becker County District Court with two counts of felony financial transaction card fraud $250-$2,500.
On Aug. 3, a woman's purse was stolen from a third-floor office at St. Mary's Innovis Health. A Mastercard credit card from the purse was used at several businesses in the Detroit Lakes area. Total attempts, denials and actual use of the card were $951. Video surveillance at two businesses allegedly identified Jackson as the culprit, according to court records.
On July 30 a wallet was reported stolen from St. Mary's. Four unsuccessful attempts were made to withdraw about $450 from ATMs using a bank card from the stolen wallet. She was allegedly identified through video surveillance in this case also, according to court records.
On Sept. 10, District Judge Peter Irvine issued a summons for her to appear in court Sept. 29.
