Woman in court for drugs

A Mahnomen woman will make her first appearance Feb. 11 in Becker County District Court on a felony drug possession charge.

Liza Marie Mason, 38, of 107 N. Railway St., Mahnomen, was allegedly found in possession of a controlled substance after being arrested for shoplifting at Walmart in Detroit Lakes on Sept. 16.

According to court records, a metal spoon that was found in her purse following her arrest was sent to the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension for laboratory analysis, and reportedly tested positive for traces of heroin.
