Woman injured in rollover on I-94 near Rothsay
ROTHSAY, Minn. - A Canadian woman was injured when her car rolled near here on Interstate 94 Sunday afternoon.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol:
Sixty-seven-year-old Bonnie Thomson of Scarborough, Ont., was eastbound on I-94 near milepost 38 around 2 p.m. when she lost control of her car.
The vehicle went off the right shoulder of the road and Thomson over-corrected, sending it back to the right-side ditch, where the vehicle rolled several times, landing on the roof.
Thomson was airlifted to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The road was dry at the time of the accident. Thomson was wearing her seat belt.
The accident is still under investigation by the state patrol.
