Year away from decision on sulfate wild rice limit
The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency Wednesday released its preliminary findings on how much sulfate pollution is too much for wild rice, saying a two-year, $1.5 million field and laboratory study shows sulfate above 4 to 16 parts per million can produce a chain reaction in the ecosystem that harms wild rice.
