Yeh is a native of Nisswa and a student at Ohio Northern University, where she is pursuing a Doctorate of Pharmacy degree. An accomplished violinist, Yeh has been a violin instructor since the age of 13 and performs regularly as a soloist, as a member of a string trio, and as part of a string quartet.

As Miss Minnesota, Yeh’s service platform is entitled “My Voice for Philip,” and was inspired by her 22-year old brother Phil who was diagnosed with autism at the age of four. She regularly speaks to Minnesotans about early detection and public awareness of autism – a disorder that affects more than 1.5 million people.

Yeh is also an official spokesperson for the Children’s Miracle Network in Minnesota.
