Youthful DL teams take to Fergus Falls track meet

Email

Some younger Detroit Lakes athletes saw some varsity action, as the Laker boys' and girls' track and field teams competed in Fergus Falls without several of their top performers.

But the youth made the most of their chances and put in a solid day Tuesday.

Berit Ramstad-Skoyles took DL's top finish of the day with a second place in the 800-meter run and a time of 2:43.25, while Ally Rousu was third in the shot put with a 30-09.
