Take a musical journey back in time this Wednesday, July 12,, as Good Clean Fun Productions brings its traveling show, "The Music of Patsy Cline," to Detroit Lakes' Historic Holmes Theatre this Wednesday, July 12 for a 7:30 p.m. show.

Featuring Cassandra Wiesner as Patsy Cline, and backed by six talented musicians known as "The Bobs" — an homage to Cline's tradition of calling her backup band "The Bodacious Bobcats" — the show will highlight all of the greatest hits from Cline's prolific song catalog, as well as a few lesser-known gems.

Known as "the No. 1 Patsy Cline tribute show in the Midwest," Cassie and the Bobs have been touring the Midwest together for nine years now, garnering rave reviews wherever they go — in fact, they played the Holmes Theatre back in July 2009, and proved so popular that they have been asked back twice since then, in 2012 and again this summer.

This group of accomplished singers and musicians are dedicated to sounding as authentic and true to the spirit of the original recordings as possible. People who love Cline's music will be delighted with how closely this show emulates the experience of sitting in the audience for one of her live shows with the Bodacious Bobcats — an experience few have had in reality, as Cline was killed in a plane crash more than 50 years ago, when she was just 30 years old.

Despite being of such short duration, Cline's career was a prolific one, producing 102 recorded songs in just six years, including such all-time greats as "Crazy," "I Fall to Pieces," "Walkin' After Midnight" and "Sweet Dreams (of You)."'

Tickets for Wednesday's performance are $20 for adults, $10 for students, and may be purchased online at www.dlccc.org/holmes.html, by phone at 218-844-7469, or in person at the Holmes Box Office, 806 Summit Ave.
