Fogelson to perform Saturday at Maplewood State Park
This Saturday, July 14, Minnesota musician R. Mark Fogelson will perform from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Josh Hanson Memorial Picnic Shelter inside Maplewood State Park.
The songs of R. Mark Fogelson capture this essence of traditional folk by focusing on human stories, emotions and triumphs. Each of his songs is like a story that he is telling. At his live shows, Mark explains to the audience how each song came to him. His songs range in theme from family, such as in "Sometimes it Seems," or "My Brown-Eyed Girl, "to new beginnings, as described in "Plant New Dreams." Mark also brings smiles to audiences' faces with songs such as "If Jesus Was Norwegian" and "Triple A, Double D," about memory.
