Learn all about vegetarianism and veganism

There is a big push in our society to eat healthy. Daily we are bombarded with ads on just what we should eat, and sometimes healthcare providers and loved ones gently nudge us to change our diets.

Words like vegetarian and vegan have become well used.

If you would like to find out what all the fuss is about, come and check out what your library has available.

DL Library Happenings

• Thursday, Dec. 20 and Saturday, Dec. 22: Storytime at 10:30 a.m.

• Thursday, Dec. 20: Holiday Crafts for Kids, 3:45 p.m.

Materials will be provided for several holiday decorations. Participants can choose to make one or more crafts to take home. There will be snacks and door prizes.

Library Hours

Regular hours for the Detroit Lakes Library are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Thursday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

It is closed on Sundays.
