Holy Rosary Pie Sale organizer Katie Aligada says that there are many familiar faces who show up to help make both apple (shown) and pumpkin pies for the annual event. Orders are being accepted between now and Nov. 15, with the pies being ready for pickup at the church on Nov. 17-19.

The Becker County Historical Society and Museum will actually be located closer to the  Detroit Lakes Community Center at left than these first renderings show. The front of the museum will coordinate with the building next door, but also keep its own identity with an older looking design.
