• Art Exhibit Opening: 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., Rourke Art Museum, 521 Main Ave., Moorhead. Artist Zhimin Guan will give a gallery talk about his new solo exhibition, "Bridge: American Scene/China Scene," featuring 40 of his most recent paintings depicting traditional houses and street scenes in his Chinese hometown as well as landscape views from Minnesota and North Dakota. • "Goldie & the Bears": 1:30 p.m., George Simson Auditorium, Detroit Lakes Middle School. The first grade classes of Roosevelt Elementary School present their fall music program. All friends and family are invited to attend.

Thursday, Nov. 25


• Community Thanksgiving Feast: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Detroit Lakes. Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings.To request a ride to the church or home-delivered meal (within 10- mile radius of DL) call 218-847-1393.

• Parade of Trees: 4 to 8 p.m., American Legion, Lake Park. Fifth annual event features about 30 trees decorated by individuals, families and businesses; proceeds will benefit Lake Park community projects. Admission to the event is by free will donation. The public will get to vote on their favorite trees for a people's choice award, to be announced at the end of the event on Sunday. Holiday goodies will be served.

• Parade of Lights: 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., downtown Perham. Lions Club will host the annual parade, with doughnuts and hot chocolate available; parade awards and live music by After Dark will follow the parade at Mulligans.
