Beatles tribute band coming to DL
The Historic Holmes Theatre in Detroit Lakes is excited to bring the nationally prominent Beatles tribute band, Revolution, to stage on Friday, May 7, at 8 p.m. They have performed with some of the top names in the entertainment business including: Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, Ted Danson, Ron Howard, Goldie Hawn, and Steve Martin, just to name a few.
Revolution is the leading worldwide touring show that captures the Beatles with authentic instruments, costumes, a visual impact, sound and excitement that can only be described as incredible! Revolution takes on the personalities of the Beatles while wearing slick, collarless suits, Beatle boots and mop-tops. They capture the very essence of four young men whose music continues to win the hearts of millions and whose melodies provided the soundtrack of an era.
This show is for those who are looking for a reason to bust out their bell bottoms, are fans of the "Fab Four," like the idea of going back in a musical time machine, or if they weren't even born in the '60s, but have the Beatles hits on their mp3 players. Joe Johnson, national syndicated radio host of "Beatle Brunch," calls this group "perhaps the greatest band since the Beatles themselves."

Country Kitchen will be hosting a pre-party dinner in the Holmes Ballroom at 6:30 p.m. Tickets for the dinner are $5. Bleachers Bar & Grill will be providing drinks.
Tickets for the show can be purchased by visiting the Historic Holmes Theatre Box Office at 806 Summit Ave., online at www.dlccc.org, or by calling 218-844-SHOW.
