• Drifters Memorial Ride: 11 a.m., departs from Frazee VFW parking lot. Gregory Riewer AMVETS Post 613, Frazee hosts a memorial motorcycle ride. Cost is $25 per person and includes a T-shirt and lunch at Dunton Locks. It is $5 for a passenger. The public is welcome to come to Dunton Locks for the 2 p.m. picnic if not interested in riding. • Friday Night Frogging: 8 to 10 p.m., Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge, 35704 Co. Hwy. 26, Rochert. Join a Tamarac park ranger for a night of frogging. Identify frogs by their calls while learning about their natural history and significance to the ecosystem; tromp through a marsh and get a close-up look at some of these cool green critters. • Quake the Lake Powerboat Races: Hot laps start at 12 noon, racing at 1 p.m., Detroit Lakes City Beach (across from Zorbaz Restaurant). Twin City Power Boat Association teams up with Zorbaz, J&K Marine, Washington Square Mall, Great Plains Claims, and the Detroit Lakes Tourism Bureau to bring powerboat racing to DL.
