WE Fest Kick-off Party set for Wednesday

LOCAL FAVORITES 32 BELOW will officially kick off WE Fest 2010 this Wednesday, Aug. 4, with a performance on the Ranch House stage, starting at 9 p.m. The three-day country music and camping festival runs Thursday through Saturday, Aug. 5-7, at the Soo Pass Ranch south of Detroit Lakes.

The Midwest's favorite country music festival is rolling into town this week. WE Fest will hit Soo Pass Ranch on Thursday, Aug. 5, and keep the music booming and the party hopping through Saturday the 7th.

For those who can't wait until Thursday for the fun to begin, the Ranch House will host a Kick Off Party on Wednesday with WE Fest returnee 32 Below. A perfect lead-in for the rest of the weekend's entertainment, the bar will open at 4 and the band is set to start at 9.

This year's lineup has something for every degree of country connoisseur, catering to all variations of the average and not-so-average WE Fest fan.

From acts new to the country music scene, like up-and-comer Jason Aldean, to WE Fest veterans like Kenny Chesney, the main stage will shine with talent both time-tested and prepared to prove its merit.

And from Minnesota-based Hitchville to worldwide phenomenon Kid Rock, the musical styles represented are widespread and fit for an audience that's anything but cookie-cutter.

From Thursday through Saturday, gates will open wide at 2 p.m., making way for the following acts and as many fans as can fit inside.
