Multi-talented Munroe in Ulen Oct. 16

ACOUSTIC MUSICIAN MICHAEL MUNROE will be in Ulen on Saturday, Oct. 16, to perform as part of the 2010-11 Top Hat Theatre season at Ulen-Hitterdal School's Barry J. Houglum Auditorium. The concert starts at 7:30 p.m.; doors open at 6:30.

The Top Hat Theatre at Ulen-Hitterdal School will welcome the multi-talented musician Michael Monroe to Ulen on Saturday, October 16, at 7:30 p.m., as part of its sixth annual performing arts season.

Monroe lives in his log cabin and records his music on the North Shore of Lake Superior in his solar powered MisTree Studio.  From vinyl to digital, performing his original acoustic folk, reggae and jazz, he blends rich vocals, guitars, bamboo and crystal flutes together... recycling his award winning music "live" using technology that's powered by creativity.

Monroe's award winning instrumental soundtrack was featured on PBS/CBC, Toronto Enviro/New York Indie Film Fests as well as an Emmy for "Soaring on Mended Wings."

Top Hat season tickets are still available at $60 individual and $130 family (two adults; two students). Individual show tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for students, and can be purchased at the Ulen-Hitterdal School office or by calling 218-596-8853 to reserve your seats.
