Due to illness, George Jones has cancelled his performance at a sold-out concert set for this Friday, Nov. 2 at Shooting Star Casino. At this time, there are no plans to reschedule.

For the second time this year, country music superstar George Jones has cancelled an appearance at Mahnomen's Shooting Star Casino, again due to illness.

The sold-out concert was set to take place this Friday, Nov. 2. At this time, there are no plans to reschedule his performance.

As stated by George Jones' management team, "As everyone knows, George has battled with upper respiratory problems all year, which in fact caused the postponement of his show earlier this year. He has gotten a virus that doctors are treating, but he is unable to perform his weekend at Shooting Star. George apologizes to all his fans for all the inconvenience."

Guests who have purchased tickets will receive a full refund in seven to 10 days. For additional ticket refund information or related questions, visit the Shooting Star ticket office, open daily from 9 a.m. - 8 p.m., or call the Shooting Star ticket office at 1-800-313-SHOW (7469).
