Trampled by Turtles coming to Moorhead's Bluestem Center

The Duluth, Minn.-based bluegrass band Trampled by Turtles will be the first concert of the year May 10 at the Bluestem Center for the Arts Amphitheatre in Moorhead.

The group, which played The Venue at The Hub in November -- and has headlined Detroit Lakes' own High Plains Festival -- is celebrating its 10th year together.

Trampled by Turtles features Dave Simonett, Tim Saxhaug (bass, vocals), Dave Carroll (banjo, vocals), Erik Berry and Ryan Young (fiddle).

Last year saw the group release its most popular album yet, "Stars and Satellites," and play "A Prairie Home Companion," "The Late Show with David Letterman" and "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson."

Tickets for the all-ages show go on sale at noon on Friday for $25.
