Celebrate the holidays at Ulen’s Top Hat Theatre on Saturday, Dec. 7, with a special presentation of the musical theater presentation, “At Chrsitmas.”

This unique blend of family-fueled comedy and drama is brilliantly written and performed by alumni of Dudley Riggs’ Brave New Workshop, Shannon Custer, Michelle Cassioppi, and Jim Robinson.

They are joined on stage by a live, six-piece band featuring one of the Twin Cities’ favorite front men, Mick Sterling, and A Brave New Workshop’s musical director, Peter Guertin.

“At Christmas” is wonderfully simple and minimalist, driven by the stories and music that will ring true with family members of all ages.

The show is a reflection of what the holidays are for all families—funny, poignant, and heartwarmingly tender.

The idea for the show originated from a Christmas album Sterling made a few years ago called “Blessed - Songs for Christmas Time.”

Instead of just putting together a CD release party, Sterling thought it would be more entertaining to put together a theatrical production that performed the CD along with pieces that feature humorous and heartfelt stories that happen during Christmas to many families.

Tickets are now available at Ulen-Hitterdal School, at a cost of $15 for adults, $10 for students, in the office, or can be reserved by sending an e-mail to or by phone at 218-596-8853.

Purchase or reserve your tickets today to be assured of getting a seat!

Doors open to the public at 6:30 p.m.
