'Seussical' in DL March 28

The Historic Holmes Theatre in Detroit Lakes will be hosting an adaptation of the Broadway version of "Seussical the Musical" on Sunday, March 28, at 3 p.m. Thirteen actors from New York City based Theatreworks USA will be featured in this performance.

"Oh, the thinks you can think" when Dr. Seuss's best loved stories collide in this unforgettable musical caper. This performance is especially adapted for young audiences, but will be enjoyed by the whole family. The Cat in the Hat is the host and emcee (and all-around mischief-maker) in this romp through the Seuss classics.

Dr. Seuss's beloved classic characters find themselves intertwined in an incredible crazy-quilt adventure, in which the power of imagination and the most miraculous "think" ever save the day!

In addition to the production for families, the Holmes Theatre is collaborating with the Rossman and Roosevelt Elementary School Art Masters programs to showcase student art in the ballroom as well as around our community. Art activities will be taking place in the ballroom from 1-3 p.m.

March 28 will be a day full of creativity and fun for kids of all ages. "Seussical" is sponsored by Atheneum Graphics.
