The "studio crawl" free tour of art exhibits is this weekend in Fargo-Moorhead.

This year 60 different artists in mediums from ceramic to paper to water-color will be represented in 40 different studios around the F-M region.

Executive Director Jon Offutt says this is the largest Studio Crawl yet, rivaling similar events put on by larger cities like Minneapolis.

To help Crawlers figure out how to split their time, Offutt recommends checking out the Studio Crawl preview show, on display at the Plains Art Museum's new Katherine Kilbourne Burgum Center for Creativity, to get a sense of what options are available to see.

The event is noon to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday throughout the F-M metro area

All studios are free and open to the public. For more information and a full schedule of events, visit Free Studio Crawl brochures, maps and list of Crawl locations are also available at the Plains Art Museum or from participating artists.
