A 'polar-rific' weekend: Fest gets underway tonight in Detroit Lakes

It’s a “polar-rific” weekend in Detroit Lakes, as the community’s annual Polar Fest celebration gets underway tonight with the Daddy’s Little Sweetheart Dance. The fun starts at 6 p.m. inside the Historic Holmes Theatre, where dads and daughters can dance the night away at a semi-formal ball that offers music, dancing, crafts, food, photo opportunities and a grand march at 6:30 p.m. on the theater stage.
