June P. Hovland, 79, of Detroit Lakes, died Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at MeritCare Hospital in Fargo. A celebration of June’s life is scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18 at First Lutheran Church of Detroit Lakes. A gathering of friends and family will take place at the church one hour prior to services.
